Deadlines time!
For Thursday December 20th you must have a fully printed version of your magazine for me to take away and mark over Christmas. This should also be on your blog.
Over Christmas you may add to your blog using your checklist. All blog work including evaluation must be fully completed for Monday 7th January to enable me to have time to mark it all.
As ever, email me at mrhindleteacher@googlemail.com if you need any assistance.

The evaluation questions:
-
In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real
media products?
-
How does your media product represent particular social groups?
-
What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?
-
Who would be the audience for your media product?
-
How did you attract/address your audience?
What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

HALF TERM review time.
Greetings everyone,
Half Term is a time to take stock of your progress. Ensure your research is all complete - 3 front pages, 3 contents pages and 3 double pages all analysed.
Add your different versions of your front covers, explaining what you design and the changes you make.
During half term, you should look to make good progress on your double page feature.
Good luck, as ever, the helpline is open 24/7.

Tasks for Thursday 27th:
Ensure your front page and contents page are uploaded to your blog with explanations of what you have learnt.
Begin to create the name of your magazine, try a series of fonts and save examples of each one you try onto a document as evidence of planning.
Start putting together your magazine front cover. Use the images you have and begin to edit them and start putting them into place.
Fully complete your analysis of at least 3 front covers.
Make sure your blog is full of work so I can check it!
Thank you

Just a quick reminder of the pre-coursework task of making a school / college magazine front cover and contents page. It's due to be complete and uploaded by Thursday 20th. I'd also like to see your document of what you expect to see on a school magazine and a review of your own on there by then. As I wrote on the PowerPoint today:
